LI : Summarise the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
This week for reading Miss Tele’a was talking about Mrs Spider’s Beautiful Web. We were learning to do summarising which means saying something in a shorter way. We used a paper to write down what happened in the beginning, middle and end of the book. I told my group what to write for the beginning. Then we put it on our slides. I did well at choosing my spider to put on the slide. Here is our work :
This week for maths we practiced adding using an algorithm. The algorithm we used was adding with renaming. This is my DLO of how to use the algorithm to answer questions.
We also practiced our number knowledge, and did worksheets practicing our column addition.
Today in our cybersmart we learnt how to make a rocket in Google Drawings. We used shapes like triangles, rectangles, 32 point stars and circles. To colour our planets we made our own gradients. My planet has a red and turquoise gradient. In my rocket ship is me, Nio & Miss Tele’a.
